Our young two-year-olds grow through a variety of hands-on activities in learning centers throughout their day. Extra attention is provided for this group by way of a smaller teacher to child ratio, offering extra loving care. Children learn the routines of a school day, Bible knowledge, and social skills. Potty training provided!
Along with hands-on learning, this classroom provides basic writing skills that are introduced through a fun, encouraging style of teaching. Bible stories and worship songs, as well as, recognition of letters, colors, numbers and concepts are learned through songs and fun experiences.

This program is specifically geared towards children who are not yet eligible for enrollment into Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten the following school year.
Students further prepare for school through building skills in writing, phonics, shapes, colors, numbers and positional concepts. Vocabulary building, grammar and sentence usage are part of our daily focus during our language development curriculum, and spiritual growth is at the heart of all our programs.
Pre-K students grow and develop in every aspect as they prepare to enter Southlands’ kindergarten program.
TK bridges the gap between preschool and Kindergarten. Students are set up for success with a developmentally appropriate educational experience that is tailored to meet their needs. Our faith-based classrooms set the foundation for spiritual growth, and provide a balance of experiential academics and play-based learning.
Students continue to utilize our center-based learning approach with exposure to STEAM, meaningful enrichment courses, outdoor learning experiences, and so much more.
TK students find a love of learning that will be carried with them throughout their future years at Soutlands elementary school.
